Enerhodar (Ukrainian: Енергодар) is the city in north-west part of Zaporizhia Oblast, Ukraine.
Enerhodar is located on the left bank of Dnieper river near the Kakhovka Reservoir. The city was founded on June 12, 1970 for building and serving the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant, the biggest Nuclear Power Plant in Europe.
