Baloži (
pronunciation (help·info)) is a town of Latvia situated in the Ķekava municipality. As of 2006, the city has a population of 4,481.
Baloži was founded soon after the Second World War; as a village at the time, it was developed for the nearby peat factory workers. Baloži has been classified as a city since 1991.
