Kasugai (春日井市 Kasugai-shi) is a city located in Aichi, Japan. The city was founded on June 1, 1943. As of March 1, 2010, the city had an estimated population of 303,181 and a density of 3,270 inhabitants per square kilometre (8,500 /sq mi). The total area is 92.71 square kilometres (35.80 sq mi).
Part of Nagoya Airfield is in the city of Kasugai. The rest of the airport is in the city of Komaki. Nagoya Airport serves Nagoya, Aichi. There is also a candy manufacturer named Kasugai, whose headquarters is here.
The remains of Jōjō Castle can be found in Kasugai.
Kelowna, British Columbia, Canada, is a sister city to Kasugai.
Major League Baseball outfielder Ichiro Suzuki was born in Kasugai.
