Florida is a mostly residential neighborhood of the Vicente López Partido in the northern suburbs of Gran Buenos Aires, Argentina. It is principally a middle class neighbourhood and is located between the neighborhoods of Olivos and Vicente López, also in the same partido (department).
The city is located between Maipú Avenue and the Pan-American highway.
Florida is served by three railway lines, the Bartolomé Mitre line, the Ferrocarril General Manuel Belgrano, and Tren de la Costa, which provide easy access to the Capital. Its main commercial areas are centered around San Martín street and Maipú Avenue.
Sport
Florida is home to football team Club Atletico Platense.
